Imperial donates to Local charity in Inverclyde

Imperial Civil Enforcement Solutions, in partnership with Inverclyde Council, hosted a charity donation event in support of Inverclyde Veterans Network.

Inverclyde Veterans Network (IVN) is a not for profit organisation run by veterans, for veterans, and has been in operation since 2025. They provide a carefully tailored and holistic support network covering physical and mental health, welfare needs, and social connection.

“We are still in what we call our start up, setting up phase, but we are there. We are already helping veterans in the Inverclyde community. I’d say we are probably around over 20 now that we have directly helped through signposting them to organisations. That’s everything from combat stress related issues, mental health related issues, financial issues, homelessness issues, accessibility issues. We work with all these other charitable organisations to help the veterans community.” – Gordon Sinclair, Inverclyde Veterans Network Chairperson

The donation event, held at Lyle Kirk Church on 5 February 2026, brought together members of the charity to enjoy heartwarming speeches from Gordon Sinclair, the charity’s Chairperson, and Kieran McBeth, Account Manager at Imperial. Following the remarks, Kieran presented the donation on behalf of Imperial.

This event would not have been possible without the help and support of Inverclyde Council. Through their involvement, Imperial and Inverclyde Veterans Network were able to connect and make this day possible.
Councillor Graeme Brooks, Armed Forces Champion and Depute Provost of Inverclyde, said: “I know first-hand the great work the Inverclyde Veterans’ Network does supporting our armed forces community and raising awareness of the challenges faced by veterans and also the opportunities to work collaboratively. This generous donation from our partners Imperial is a huge boost to the network and will allow them to continue providing support to Inverclyde’s veterans.”
